Cast (in Alphabetical Order)
Wayne Jakino
Once upon a time, there was a man with a vision. This vision came about because a drag queen (or so they were called at the time) bumped into this man at the National Reno Gay Rodeo in 1981. This encounter brought the vision into focus. He and a few others formed a local gay rodeo association in Colorado and took four hundred people to the next National Reno Gay Rodeo in 1982. The following year, his vision took him to Texas to challenge that same drag queen, to host a gay rodeo in Texas. He returned home to Colorado and produced a gay rodeo himself to prove it could be done! Because this man had the vision to produce that gay rodeo, Texas decided to join him and produce their own rodeo. California and Arizona quickly formed associations and held their own gay rodeos – with this man working quietly in the background. Recognizing that they had a good thing going, these four associations realized they needed to standardize the ground rules for gay rodeos. A convention was held in September 1985 and this man was elected as the founding president of the International Gay Rodeo Association. This organization and all of us are here today because of the vision and support of this man. He has continued to support gay rodeo for more than twenty years and his enthusiasm is as contagious today as it was when he attend his first gay rodeo. (from the IGRA Hall Of Fame at IGRA.com)
Chuck Browning
A 39-year-old financial manager –10 time IGRA Champion. he has suffered countless losses and is facing a new phase in his life, which is a double-edged sword; the possibility of growing old – and being alone.
Coming into this season having retired from bareback Bronc riding last year, we see a Chuck who has had numerous rodeo injuries and is confronting his personal demons of age, and loneliness as well as the new up-and-coming competitors who are gunning for him in particular, Todd Tramp of Todd Tramps Body Sculpting LA fame. As the season progresses we see the magic of the old champion and the inevitable falls which mark the beginning of the paradigm shift from “live hard, die young” to “gracefully pass on the baton” and have a healthy old age. We see the desire for a relationship without the effort required, and the slow withdrawal from being an IGRA mover and shaker to being a champion competitor along with his rodeo partner Brian.
Elodie Anne Huttner
Elodie is a 38-year-old trauma nurse from Norco, California. Elodie holds the distinction on the IGRA for attending the most rodeos in a single season. Her no-quit attitude along with “a heart the size of Texas” makes Elodie one of the most well liked people on the circuit.
Rob Drake
A 32-year-old construction worker from Minnesota, Rob is in his first year on the circuit. His talent is impressive and his thoughtful manner makes him a true cowboy.
Rob is engaged in an intense internal struggle with his identity as a homosexual and as a man.
Belinda Ann Gavin
Belinda originally hails from Australia and now resides in Los Angeles where she pursues a career as an erotic film star. Sometimes performing under the name of Kylie Wyote, she has an incredible fan base and multiple websites devoted to her career. A self proclaimed bisexual, Belinda has been on the International Gay Rodeo circuit for nearly 4 years. She has proven herself to be a champion–winning the IGRA championship buckle in steer riding twice. She attributes her championship status to her instructor, Todd Tee Tramp, who has molded her into the rider and competitor that she is today.
Todd Tee Tramp
The product of a football dynasty in Iowa, Todd is a self made fitness Guru with his own business called Todd Tramp’s Body Sculpting LA. After selling his Gyms at 39, he now devotes all his time to the rodeo life – as a competitor in all International Gay Rodeo Events and a constant contender in the “All Around Cowboy” Category at every Rodeo he attends. A fierce competitor, Todd prides himself in his ability to “Cowboy Up” and meet the challenge. He is also an instructor at rodeo events and takes great pride in his student, Belinda Ann Gavin, who is now a two-time IGRA Steer Riding Champion.
